Financial Accounting & Department Oversight ' Ensuring timely and accurate preparation of management and financial accounts ' Formalize review of the financials and ensure that the accounting principles and practices applied are compliant with policies and appropriate regulations ' Ensure a fit-for-purpose month-end close process is in place and being followed ' Ensure optimal finance processes are in place and being followed ' Ensure appointment and thereafter co-ordinate the external audit process ensuring that consolidated accounts are completed in a timely manner ' Ensure all stakeholders are informed of status and working towards the agreed deadline.
Internal Controls, Review of process & Audits' Establish internal control procedures Ensure appropriate checks and balances are in place ' Keep abreast with relevant State/National Laws income tax rules, GST rules, profession tax, PF, relevant sector rules and ensure compliance ' Ensure timely payments of statutory dues and returns filing of Income Tax, TDS, Profession Tax, GST etc ' Oversee Internal and Statutory Audits and liaison with relevant Consultants/Statutory bodies ' Revenue Assurance with ownership on ZERO Revenue Leakage & Pilferage ' Proper processes and controls for AP and AR functions ' Review adequacy of insurances for all company assets.
Financial Planning and Reporting ' Financial Planning with complete Cost Control measures, Margin Analysis ' Perform reporting duties like preparing financial statements, draw up balance sheets, give cash flow reports, create budgets etc ' Liaise internally and work with other departments for Budget Preparation, AOP & Forecasting ' Provide periodic financial data to the Management for long-term financial planning Carry out financial analysis, identify financial issues with current or potential impact on the company and offer advice ' Review contractual obligations of the company to ensure consistency with overall financial objectives, plans and compliance.
' Business Analytics with Systems & Processes ' Deployment of MIS Systems including Business Metrics ' Perform Monthly analysis of Budget v Actuals highlighting areas of concern and Action plans to address Treasury services ' Prepare periodic cashflows to ensure optimal liquidity, and shortfalls are flagged well in advance ' Advise management on the feasibility of the funding plan during the BP process.
' Work with management on ensuring optimum liquidity position Corporate services ' Ensuring all corporate services are performed on a timely basis and statutory books are up to date and filed with relevant authorities ' Prepare all Board Meeting Presentations Tax Services ' Understand and calculate Tax ensuring filings are made in a timely manner ' Advise company management on optimal transfer pricing and inter-company recharges.
