Job descriptionDepartment - Local Finance, General Management GBS Does your motivation come from challenges and working in a dynamic environment Do you thrive in a working environment where close collaboration with key stakeholders and strategic alignment is essential Do you have a can-do attitude with continuous improvement as one of your career objectives Then we might have the right position for you Apply now and join a growing team, working in an international environment About the Department GBS General Management Bangalore focuses on establishing strong GBS Governance, compliance and processes based on the Novo Nordisk Way are prerequisite to fulfilling our strategic ambitions and nurturing a strong culture that will upgrade our local operations The Position As a Finance Controller of Global Business Services (GBS), your main responsibility is budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and reporting, benchmarking analysis along with driving strategic financial projects Simultaneously, you will be expected to act as a financial advisor to strengthen the financial budgets & MMR (Monthly Management Report).

You will be expected to support and act as a finance partner, collaborate with stakeholders and maintain good communication with internal & external stakeholders Furthermore, you will participate to perform cost per FTE analysis, explore digitalization opportunities & optimization of processes

• Preparation of financial budgets, monitoring actual expenditure against the budget and prepare Monthly Management Report (MMR)
• Drive local finance projects Explore digitalization opportunities.
  
  
• Act as a trusted financial advisor to the areas by keeping management teams informed about the general financial development of the areas and prepare proposals for preventive and corrective actions, if necessary, to meet the targets
• Secure efficient communication and alignment between areas to ensure proactive management of expectations
• Proactively, identify and initiate initiatives which can drive changes, optimise processes or impact decision making in areas

Qualifications

• You hold a bachelor's degree in Commerce or equivalent 5-10 years' relevant experience
• Knowledge of SAP - Finance module (FI) & BO is a must.
  
  
• You also showcase your proactive nature further to drive processes and solve tasks on own hand with stakeholder management skills
• Advanced user of MS Office
• Demonstrate capability to take ownership and accountability of deliverables assigned
• Be proactive, able to drive processes & solve tasks on own hand
• Stakeholder Relation Management skills .
