He/ She is expected to be supporting in business decision making process through proposal risk assessment, project review and margin/cash flow analysis and identify any potential issues or risksJob duties & responsibilities:Actively engage in business partnering from Finance perspective

• To ensure revenue recognition is being done as per accounting standards including monitor and control project cash flow in lifecycle business through billed / unbilled AR analysis and regular review
• Participate project reviews/business meetings to monitor project status and provide financial support
• Support in preparation of management reports and presentation materials for internal meetings
• Analyze T&E spending to improve cost productivity
• Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned like Merger & acquisition

Provide reasonable assurance around internal control and compliance

• Due diligent finance review in the required processes including proposal approval, revenue recognition, etc
• Continuous influence on the business team around sense of compliance the in day-to-day operations
• Provide guidance and training on policies and procedures as appropriate to maintain the level of awareness

Perform informative reporting and insightful analysis around to facilitate management decision making

• Closely monitor the dynamics of the toplines and report on a regular basis
• Analyze the root cause for monthly actual performance variance v/s AOP/Forecast and flag out any issues and risks to management including top lines and expenses

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant
• Minimum of 4-5 years of recent financial planning & analysis in automation or similar industries preferred
• Knowledge of project accounting
• Advanced computer skills in spreadsheet, and database program knowledge
• Experience and skill in using Power BI, SAP/, IFS system and other data-warehouse application package
