Fleet AssociateLaundryheap is an on-demand laundry and linen service with a mission to deliver great service within 24 hours! What we do Collect your laundry, clean it, pack it and deliver it back to you! To lessen the impact on our planet we also have a fleet of electrical and eco-friendly bikes for our couriersWe are currently looking for a Fleet Associate to join our fast-growing team at our office in Bengaluru, India As we are an international brand working with different time zones, we would require the potential candidate to be flexible to work in US shift patterns (night shifts) with usThe candidate will be responsible for supporting the Fleet Team and ensuring the entire supply of contractors (Partner Drivers) is taken care ofAs part of the Fleet Team, your role will be divided into three key areas:
- stakeholder communication;
- disciplinary investigation; and
- problem resolution.
Your primary function will be to take charge of all inbound communication from Partner Drivers, specifically emails, and to support them with any questions or concerns they may have, such as onboarding, payment questions, and contract issues Moreover, you will also take charge of investigating Partner Driver's errors and supporting/ correcting them, where required Considering the communication aspect of the role, it is vital you have a strong grasp and command of the English languageThe job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Liaising with our Partner Drivers around the world from the moment they apply
- Liaising with our colleagues in London, Dubai, and Singapore.
- Supporting Partner Drivers with any questions or concerns they may have, such as onboarding, payment questions, and contract issues
- Taking charge of investigating driver errors and supporting/ disciplining drivers, where required
- Working alongside our Fleet Team, Customer Operations, and Delivery Support Team
- Responding to ongoing driver queries, issues, and feedback
- Responsible for matching driver supply to client demand.
- Streamlining the Fleet processes
- Responsible for managing driver performances
- Project-based improvements - lead and take ownership of any given project for improving how Laundryheap operates
Required skills:
- Proven organizational and planning skills
- Be data-driven and passionate about problem-solving
- Willing to learn a business from the ground up and not be afraid to champion/promote your ideas
- An ability to work independently and take ownership
- Calm and composed under pressure
- Strong command of the English language
- Excellent people and communication skills
- Previous experience in operations and logistics is a big plus!
- Previous experience in a startup is a big plus!
Desired skills:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Work Schedule and Patterns:
- 9-hour shift (8 working hours + 1 hour break)
- 5 days a week (2 week-offs based on rota)
- Shift timings: 05:30 pm-2:30 am, 1:30 am-10:30 am, and 9:30 pm-06:30 am IST
- Office-based role
