• Interpret functional specifications and translating them into test requirements and test plans
• Manual testing of new features.
  
  
• Identifying, logging, tracking and resolution of software bugs
• Conforming to QA processes, work instructions and standards
• Provide support, training and assistance to others including peer reviews
• Provide prompt escalation of functional, technical and project issues to Management
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in all that we do.
  
  
• Makes recommendations and directs improvements to the software development lifecycle process
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, team-building, negotiation, conflict management and time management skills
• Perform Automation Testing in addition to Functional Testing, so testing automation knowhow is MUST

What you bring:Skillset:

• Should have overall minimum 7- 12 years of experience in Functional Tester with Omni background,401 K
• Background in US Retirement Benefits Administration domain must have
• Professional experience of web software testing
• Knowledgeable in software Quality Assurance practices
• An understanding of integration, regression, and acceptance testing methodologies
• Knowledge in web applications, including understanding the underlying architectures
• Experience with writing SQL queries
• Strong problem-solving skills.
  
  
• Strong desire to break software in creative but controlled manner
• Detail oriented
• Team oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables
• Ability to be flexible as new projects are assigned
• Working knowledge of web technologies (ie CSS, HTML5, Javascript, REST service, etc)
