Gas Turbine Field Service Engineer Job In Emerson In Noida, India

• Lead Gas Turbine startup and commissioning activities at site
• Control loop tuning, valve calibration and commissioning of Open loop control system and closed loop controls system
• Perform third party communication Eg ELC, SLC, SCADA, OPC etc.
  
  
• Loop and device checking and necessary modifications in the logic, graphics and database as per customer/ site requirements
• Configuration/ troubleshooting of Historian, AMS (Asset Management System), Advance algorithms etc
• Regular site updates to customer, front office and engineering center
• Internal as well as external punch point clearance
• Fill and complete the document requirement as per commissioning procedure.
  
  
• Site walkdown and collection of inputs for retrofit projects
• Actively manage controls activities on site during Installation & Commissioning, including but not limited to oversight of troubleshooting and diagnostics on Gas turbine and auxiliary systems
• Site management and coordination with customer
• Provide remote technical support to engineers, deputed on site
• Ensure contractual obligations are met
• Attend technical meetings with Customers.
  
  
• Provide post-commissioning Customer Service Support
• Ensure all in-field activities are carried out safely complying with company environmental, health, and safety (EHS) guidelines and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

• 1st Division or equivalent GPA 10th / 12th / Bachelor's degree (BE/BTech) in Engineering from four-year College or University.
  
  
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Gas Turbine system startup, commissioning engineering activities
• Experience working for a major turbine manufacturer or turbine controls vendor (eg GE, Siemens, Westinghouse, ABB, Alstom, Mitsubishi, Hitachi, Toshiba, etc).
  
  
• Gas Turbine process knowledge
• Experience with ISA and SAMA logic symbols, Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
• Advanced troubleshooting, problem-solving, decision-making, and planning skills
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  
  
• Ability and willingness to travel as may be required
• Read and interpret electrical/mechanical flow and instrument diagrams
• Understand PLC ladder logic, including basic understanding of how to navigate through ladder rungs while troubleshooting

• Ability to influence others and be a good team player
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and technical documents.
