• 24/7 operations of Vodafone database infrastructure services, assuring maximum stability and efficiency in line with ITIL accountabilities (Incident, Service Request, Problem, Task, Change, Release)
• Database technology roadmap and transformation ownership
• Implementation of the company's vision, values, principles, and code of conduct
• Costing and Budgeting for the service delivery including managed services
• Contribution in Future Vision
• Align and work with stakeholder in tech transformation initiatives and contributing to the Vodafone tech 2025 strategy

Core competencies, knowledge and experience (Essential)

• Strong Expertise on Oracle Database technologies with excellent skills on RAC, ASM, Dataguard, Rman, OEM, Golden gate and Exadata technologies
• Good to have experience knowledge on WebLogic/Middleware/Non-Oracle technologies
• Experience working with multinational organization and excellent communication skill
• Experience in handling large cross Database technology teams with Stakeholder management
• Abilities to drive solutions and come up with new ideas

Qualifications and Key Performance IndicatorsMust have technical / professional qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent qualifications
• 15+ years of experience in Database technologies (Major experience with Oracle Database)
• Experience leading large team of DBA professional (50+)
• Expert in ITIL, SOX and Compliance and Strong documentation skills
• Expert understanding of Oracle Database technologies including migration experience
• Person should have worked as Oracle DBA SME for large environment minimum 8-10+ years before moving into Technology Lead role
• Strong expertise on driving Database transformation program
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, realize high levels of customer satisfaction
• Align and work with stakeholder in tech transformation initiatives and contributing to the Vodafone tech 2025 strategy
