QualificationsBasic Qualifications

• Oversee contract development and administration
• Process purchase orders develop bids and proposals and reconcile any invoice discrepancies.
  
  
• Works closely with internal teams as well as suppliers and clients to purchase products and improve procurement processes
• Supporting Source to Pay (S2P), Procure to Pay (P2P), e-business and other organizational/firm objectives
• Collaborate with Procurement Leadership and global Procurement team members in the implementation and execution of the Sub-Category Strategies for specified spend area and,
• Serving as a customer group(s) main point of contact for sourcing initiatives Provide seamless Procurement support to customer group(s) by proactively engaging the appropriate Contract Management and Maintenance leader or designee to address concerns or new bid opportunities
• Confirming that savings are coupled with high quality service delivery and enhanced customer access
• Utilizing their own specific commodity knowledge and that of staff to locate and introduce the best sources of supply and services Understand and utilize industry best practice methods and measures to enable the optimum balance of cost and quality for all endeavors
• Incorporates Procurement template content, customer requirements, and inputs from other Finance support teams

Preferred Knowledge/SkillsExperience and competency in Management for the following Categories of Spend

• Insurance management
• Human Capital
• Recruitment

Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrates intimate-level abilities and/or a proven record of success managing efforts with identifying and addressing client needs including:

• Writing Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Quotation (RFQ), Requests for Information (RFI) in related commodity areas, in collaboration with the Procurement Legal team
• Negotiating with customers in setting realistic, quality-driven expectations of Procurement sourcing deliverables/results
• Keeping up-to-date on current and emerging trends and,
• Working effectively and in a team setting across Procurement to achieve continuous improvement/refinement.
  
  
• Knowledge of supply chain management process including the tendering, contract management, and SRM process

Job Requirements and Preferences:

• Degree in Business, Finance, or related field Bachelor's required, Master's a plus

Additional Educational Requirements

• Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) or equivalent is an advantage

• 3-5 year(s)
