Required Qualification & Experience (as on 301118) : (a) Officers from Central/State PSU/Govt Organisation/ Autonomous Bodies under State/Central Govt:

1. Holding analogous pay scale in the parent cadre or department.
   
   OR
2. With Two years service in one step below pay scale

ie Rs 90000-240000 (IDA) (3rd PRC IDA-revised) or Rs.

36600-62000(IDA) (2nd IDA pre-revised) or Rs 37400-67000 (6th pay CDA) in pay band, PB-4 with grade pay Rs 8700/- OR PB Level 13 (7th Pay CDA) or equivalent

AND

1. Possessing the following Educational Qualification : The candidate must have Bachelor's degree in Civil Engg.
   
   from an Institute/University recognized by UGC/AICTE/Government

AND

1. 20 years post qualification experience as on 30112018.

AND

1. Possessing the following Educational Qualification : The candidate must have Bachelor's degree in Civil Engg from an Institute/University recognized by UGC/AlCTE/Government.

Post independence era necessitated all-around multifarious developmental activities in the country. Giant infrastructure projects were required to be taken up for which neither the private sector nor the State Government Construction Departments were equipped in machinery. And thus a legend solemnized as NPCC was incorporated on 9th January 1957 under erstwhile Ministry of Irrigation (Currently Ministry of Water Resources) to undertake Irrigation and Hydel Projects.
