PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for design, development, and implementation of data quality solutions
- Implementation methodologies and best practices and work on project teams to analyse, design, develop and deploy data quality solutions to support a variety of customer needs
- Assist design, develop, test, and deploy data quality processes using Informatica IDQ
- Collaborate with business users to identify attributes that require data quality and corresponding business rules Profile data, analyse user requirements, and translate & apply business rules to data quality rules
- Create functional & technical documents - eg.
data quality architecture flows, data profiling results, data quality specifications, test plans - Contributes to corporate data management best practices and implementation methodologies
- Other duties as requested or assigned
Implement data handling, cleansing, and standardization procedures and business transformation rules and logic (ETL)Experience in Match & Merge, De-Duplication, Exception Handling and other DQ metrics implementationExperience in building Complex DQ rules & evaluation the Data aspectsUnderstanding of Informatica DAAS services including Address Doctor for Address Validation, Contact Validation etc.
Strong RDBMS SQL writing and debugging skillsStrong in UNIX Scripting and commandsUnderstanding of Dimensional Modelling and Data Warehouse concepts, such as star schema, snowflakes, dimensions, facts, etcCan effectively utilize SQL and/or available BI tool to validate/define business rules.
Demonstrates understanding and competency with approaches/methodologies for at least one EDM area and applies this knowledge in collaborating with the team to design effective solutions to solve business problems/issuesExperience with Informatica PowerCenter & MDM will be an added advantageEffective verbal and written communications skills.
