Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emailsGenerates revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing accountsMaintain a trader's contact list and call traders on a daily basis after getting the same approved by seniorsWork on sales opportunities routed by the lead generation team, including approaching and creating rapport with prospects, providing technical facts and explanations, and exchanging specifics with the quotation team for a quoteUnderstanding customer needs and requirementsTeam with channel partners to build pipeline and close dealsPerform effective online demos to tradersTo develop and maintain relationships with existing traders through digital meetings/ phone calls/ emails/ WhatsApp with the objective of increasing business volumes To gather information about each Trader's fleet and determine when the undercarriage was replaced, as well as what spares they buy on a regular basis and of what make - to enable us to send a proposal and introduce our product lines to the company.
To conduct an internet search for new traders in the mining, road construction, cement, iron ore extraction industries, as well as companies that hire out machineries, focusing on spare parts for excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, hydraulic rock breakers, motor graders, backhoe loaders, dump trucks, and hydraulic drillingTo function as a single point of contact for traders in the territory/state that has been assigned to youTo deliver professional and effective services to internal and external traders, in order to meet their expectations, especially in terms of service quality and timelines, as outlined in departmental SOPsAfter each sale, solicit trader's feedback on the company's products and servicesTo maintain customer retention and revival data for the allocated territory/state.
To maintain and update existing / new trader's databases on C4C (cloud for customers) software programTo keep a track on outstanding payments to be received from the tradersEstablish sales objectives by forecasting and developing quarterly sales targets, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new clientsOwn and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts /ClientsBuild and manage strong long-lasting relationships with Traders in the assigned territory with the objective of increasing sales volume and market sharePartner with existing / new traders to understand their on-going business needs and objectives so as to alter strategies accordinglyUnderstand category-specific landscapes and trends of the traders so as to cater to different needsProven ability to drive the sales process from plan to closeProven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products & servicesProven ability to position services against competitorsExcellent listening, negotiation and presentation skillsExcellent verbal and written communications skillsResults-oriented with strong analytical skillsDeep understanding of CRM systems and best practicesProficient in Microsoft Office
