Deputation: Deputation of officers of the Indian Police Service holding or empanelled to hold the post of Inspector General of Police in the Central Government and also possessing Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, or Officers of the Central Government or the State Government or Central Armed Police Forces including Sashastra Seema Bal or Central or State Public Works Departments or Military Engineering Services or General Reserve Engineering Force - (a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre; or (ii) with two years' regular service in the level-13A in the Pay matrix; and (b) (i) possessing Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University; and (ii) fifteen years' experience in execution of civil works Note-1: The departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by deputation. consideration for appointment by promotion Note-2: The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years Note-3: The upper age limit for appointment by deputation shall not be exceeding fifty-six years as on the closing date of receipt of applications For Ex-servicemen-Deputation/re-empIoyment :- By deputation or re-employment of released or retired Armed Forces Officers who have held analogous post or equivalent rank in the engineering service Note:- The Armed Forces Officers due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year, shall also be considered and such officers shall be given deputation terms up to the date on which they are due for release or superannuation from the Armed Forces and thereafter they may continue on re-employment. |
