Your responsibilities

• Continuously improving the operations inventory control practices in concert with cross functional peers in value streams and supply chain
• Identifying opportunities where cross-functional initiatives can lead to inventory levels optimization and looks for processes within other functions which are impacted by inventory initiatives and/or are directly or indirectly impacting inventory levels
• Working with product management to influence design decisions, procurement to better align supply and sourcing strategies, demand planners to influence demand shaping activities which help improve profit, customer service or reduce inventory
• Accountable for target inventory turns definition / DIH and inventory budgeting across the division/ Hub/ global value chain
• Guiding motivating, and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies, for the benefit of both ABB and the employee
• Supporting on-time delivery improvement & manufacturing lead time reduction by assuring optimal Inventory levels are available

Your background

• Diploma/Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical / Electrical
• 5-10yrs of experience in inventory planning
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
