JRF Zoology / Field Assistant job opportunities in Sikkim University on contract basis
Junior Research Fellow (JRF)*/1 Post
Qualification: First class Masters Degree in Zoology/ Life Sciences/ Environmental Science/ Environmental management or allied disciplines with NET* Experience of working in Mountain environment, interest to work on herpetofauna, working knowledge of ecological analysis, GIS & Modelling
Pay Scale: Rs25,000
Field Assistant (FA)/1 Post
Pay Scale: Rs25,000

Qualification: Intermediate (10+2) preferably in science
Educational qualifications may be relaxed for candidates with prior experience in assisting in the field studies and knowledge on biodiversity of the region Experience in assisting in the field studies and knowledge on biodiversity of the region
Non-NET candidates may apply and if selected, will be considered as Junior Project Fellow (JPF) and fellowship will be as per the norms of MoEF&CC, Govt.
of India
Pay Scale :Rs10,000
Duration: The initial appointment will be for six months, and may be extended for another one year based on performance review or till the termination of the project whichever is earlier
