JOB DESCRIPTIONRole Proficiency: Act creatively to develop applications by selecting appropriate technical options optimizing application development maintenance and performance by employing design patterns and reusing proven solutions Account for others' developmental activities assisting Project Manager in day to day project execution Data Platform Engineer: Knowledge and Experience a) Expertise in Azure container orchestration, including Azure Kubernetes Services, data platform tools, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Hubs, and data stores, including Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Server, Azure PostgreSQL b) Knowledge of app server technologies, Apache Tomcat, NGINX, Azure VMs, Java c) Exposure to multi-domain, augmented MDM platforms is a plus d) Deep knowledge of software development lifecycle and data engineering practices e) Experience in data integration, data warehouse, big-data-related initiatives, development, and implementation f) Knowledge of various architectures, patterns and protocols such as ODBC, JDBC, unified data management architecture (UDM), event-driven architecture, real-time data flows, nonrelational repositories, data virtualization, cloud enablement, etc g) Demonstrated experience engineering for data quality, flexibility, and supportability h) Heightened data security mindset, strong secure software development knowledge i) Ability to perform under strong demands in a fast-paced environment j) Experience working on an agile team, open to taking on work outside one's own responsibilities to accomplish team goals Main Responsibilities 1 Build and execute portable scripts and data pipelines for data migration and reloading during software development 2.
Prepare environments for automated deployments 3 Create automated tests to ensure all data access controls are working, contribute to the administration of data access roles 4 Write scripts to create infrastructure, apply configurations and generate initial datasets 5 Coordinate cloud infrastructure and database administration to ensure the data delivery team can work efficiently 6 Harden high availability and recovery procedures 7.
