This is what #LifeAtBNYMellon is all about JOB TITLESenior Specialist, Product Management - Lead Manager: Product Governance DEPARTMENTCorporate Trust REPORTING TO[Global Head of Product Development and Governance / TBD India Site Head] PURPOSEThe product team are the owners for the products we administer in BNY Mellon Corporate Trust and continually work to grow our market share, increase revenue and optimise costs The purpose of the Product Governance Lead is to ensure that the Corporate Trust business is compliant with the enterprise policies concerning product governance and documentation WORK EXPERIENCE10 to 14 years of total work experience preferred Experience in risk and compliance related roles preferred.
MBA or CFA preferred Project management experience required Experience in managing a team required Corporate Trust experience desirable DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and lead a team of 2 individuals including prioritising the team workload to meet deliverables, adjusting as required
- Work with senior product managers across the suite of CT products to ensure accurate documentation of CT service offerings in accordance with enterprise policies.
- Responsible for delivering/managing multiple data governance related projects linked to various control catalogues
- Responsible for maintaining data repositories linked to core services (Billing, UPM, Booking Principles)
- Provide oversight and review of team in data and product governance activities including periodic product reviews and product on-boarding/off-boarding
- Support team members through training, feedback and coaching
- Other duties as necessary as this new role evolves
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONBachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Advanced/graduate degree preferred SOFT SKILLS
- Fluent in English
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential
- Strong excel, modelling and analytical skills are essential
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and motivate team members.
- Growth mindset with a strong desire to drive product performance and profitability
BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES
- Prioritization and multi-tasking skills are essential
