About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Scrum MasterCandidate needs to work with US partner teams, and it demands to be available as per the delivery timelinesResponsibilies/Job Expectations:
- Making sure everyone on the team understands the project's goals and scope.
- Helping the product owner maintain the product backlog
- Facilitating Scrum events (daily standups, other meetings) as needed
- Coaching the development team in self-organization
- Helping to remove obstacles to the developers' progress
- Facilitating Scrum events (daily standups, other meetings) as needed.
- Coaching the organization on the transition to a scrum working framework
- Ensures no changes are made that would endanger the Sprint Goal
- Work with Product Owner to ensure proper balance between features and high-quality working software
- Facilitate Release (Planning) Workshop
- Educate the Scrum Team including the Product Owner on agile requirements, agile planning, backlog creation practices
- Monitor transparency of release
- Promote commonly accepted better Agile/Scrum practices
- Promote transparency by ensuring that all Scrum events take place to facilitate opportunities to inspect and adapt
- Coordinate among the Scrum Team and monitor adherence to Scrum practices
- Keep team focused on current Sprint goals (Big Visible Charts, standup focused)
- Maintain and reports team performance metrics
- Escalate any impediment or roadblock
- Remove impediments to delivery success through the proactive management
- Accountable for creating and maintaining the appropriate vehicles for open communication within the scrum team
- Facilitate and engage in business analysis, user experience and technical conversations across platforms and multiple levels of influence
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Practicing Agile Scrum Master experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Total 9+ years of IT Experience with 5+ experince as SM
Essential QualificationsMinimum Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science,Desired qualification: Master's degree in Computer sciencePrimary :Second level Scrum Master certification (PSM I, CSM ) Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least Four years for a Scrum team.
Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burn down techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc) Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Ability to work directly with US partner teams Should be willing to work in shifts to provide better overlap with the US partner team & India teamsExpect independent decision making on strategic solutions, be proactive and drive projects to completionExcellent communication and mentoring skillsDesired Qualifications:.
Third level Scrum Master certification (PSM II, PSM III, CSP, CTC) Experience being on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts (different team s, different organizations, different cultures, co-located vs distributed, etc) Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.
