Lead Software Test Engineer Job In Quotient Technology Inc In India, Bengaluru / Bangalore

What you'll do

• Test & Automate highly scalable, 24/7 promotions platform
• Work independently completing small to large d projects while managing competing priorities in a demanding production environment
• Deliver on projects from end to end (documentation to production grade code to support procedures) in agile development process
• Design and implement automated testing frameworks, technologies, and best practices to work with CI/CD pipelines
• Identify testing gaps across our product
• Help drive requirements and acceptance criteria to improve test coverage and quality.
  
  
• Participate in technical design discussions for early test planning
• Develop automation for REST APIs, batch processes, Kafka consumers with emphasis on GCP
• Develop load tests to stress test REST APIs, data pipelines
• End to end functional system review for changes
• Work with SRE team for system support and releases
• Support Messaging, database and caching system validations
• Work collaboratively among groups within engineering (Database Administration, and Production Ops) and outside engineering

What you'll bring

• BS in Computer Science is required or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience testing API platform applications in fast paced hosted startup environment
• 6+ years of automation experience with open-source automation tools, and with Java/Eclipse development and JUnit/TestNG/RestAssured framework
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Java, Web Services, SQL.
  
  
• Experience developing automated test suites for server API/web services testing
• Experience with implementing load/scalability testing using Locust/Jmeter
• Experience in automation architecture (framework development) and design
• Experience in optimizing existing automation framework and designing/implementing new features and enhancements
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipeline.
  
  
• Strong understanding of web technologies and web applications with knowledge of web and application servers
• Experience working in Linux environment
• Experience working with GCP, AWS or Azure
• Database experience with hands-on SQL knowledge
• Experience with Object oriented (Java) is a must, and scripting languages (Python) is a nice to have.
  
  
• Strong analytical, trouble shooting, and creative problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated technical excellence ability to articulate, solve, and close on technical problems
• Ability to multitask and work with minimum supervision High-energy team player with excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
