2 Roles and Responsibilities
a Assist in drawing up risk based Annual IT audit plan and ensure adequacy of coverage and incorporate emerging risk areas as part of the rolling audit plan
b.
Execute the IT audits that are assigned after assessing;
(i)the need for engaging external authorities /firms and appoint them after due approvals
(ii) internal team members
c Continuously monitor progress/quality of assigned IT audits
d Regular tracking to ensure timely completion of IT audit engagements and regular monitoring over the progress of IT engagement
e Ensure regular co-ordination between the auditee for uninterrupted and regular flow of information required during the IT audit
f Perform special projects involving review of system migrations, software changes any other management requests and investigations
g.
Provide inputs and assist in preparing the periodic updates for Audit Committee , IRMC and RMC on status and observations
h Review the NPCI IT and IS policies and process and share the best industry standards/practice for improvement
3 Desired Candidate Profile
Education Qualifications: BE/B-Tech (CSE, ECE/IT) or ME/M-Tech or MCA/MSc (CS) Preferably with CISSP, CISA, CISM, ISO Lead Auditor and/ or security products Certifications.
4 Experience:
a 5-9 years of experience in IT Audits in a bank, financial institution or leading audit/consulting firm
b Experience of auditing IT General Controls and knowledge on IT security concepts
c Experience in the IT industry with strong background in computer operations, software development and network administration
d.
Advanced knowledge of IT auditing and standards
e Sound understanding of RBI IT security requirements & financial Payments & Settlement eco system
f Should have strong analytical and communications skills
g Sound knowledge on Cyber security governance & Data Privacy knowledge
h IT and Project management expertise are a plus
