Job Description Position Lean &; Safety lead (@ the level Asst or Deputy Manager) Function Lean Management Competence Qualification: BTech (preferably Mech) Experience: 10 15 years of exp in mfg Organisations ; out of this at least 5 years exp.

need to be in implementing lean projects in MNCs; Strong exposure to Safety practices in MNCs Skills/attitudes : Basic leadership skills, demonstrated knowledge of lean manufacturing methods , excellent team player ; ability to lead teams on projects ; outstanding communication skills; positive approach, continual improvement mindset Job Description 1 Identify opportunities/projects to improve manufacturing/business processes in the Organisation (shopfloor and office) 2 Drive implementation of lean enterprise at micro-level to the requirements of the Organisation 3 Closely work with cross functional teams implementing the projects in the defined timeline 4 Prepare reports and appraise the progress of the projects with the management team 5.

Lead and facilitate VSM, 5S, Standard work events, Kaizen events, structured problem solving events leveraging lean tools as appropriate 6 Conduct regular internal training programs and refresher programs on lean to the team 7 Lead and perform the lean audits as per the planned schedules 8 Drive safety practices in the Plant/Offices to the Organisational requirement9 Conduct safety audits at defined frequencies with the safety team 10.

Conduct safety committee reviews and other reviews related to safety 11 Perform root cause analysis to prevent safety incidents in the organization based on safety incidences / near miss reports 12 Drive safety performance indicators achieving the defined targets 13 Perform training programs on safety regulations &; practices to the employees at all level 14 Lead safety audits by external certifying bodies
