The Engineering Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for leading a variety of engineering activities including the design, acquisition and deployment of hardware, software and network infrastructure in coordination with the Technology team The overall objective of this role is to lead efforts to ensure quality standards are being met within existing and planned frameworkResponsibilities:
- Serve as a technology subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders and provide direction for all firm mandated controls and compliance initiatives, all projects within the group and in creating a technology domain roadmap

Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of relevant experience in an Engineering role
- Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment
- Project Management experience
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices
- Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills
- Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
- Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

Level 3 Middleware Operations/RPA ManagerThis person will manage a team of engineers responsible for managing the platforms and staff that host Process Automation initiatives As part of the Intelligence Process of Operations, Digitization and Technology organization the manager will manage a team that operates Virtual Desktops and Linux/Windows servers that host applications such as Boardwalk, Appian and other automation products.
The primary responsibility of the Manager is to oversee the design, build, deployment and support of technology infrastructure, hardware, software and office systems support and distribution, systems performance management and technology integration functions The Manager manages a team that manages Virtual Desktops and designs, develops, tests, debugs and implements middleware components, tools, and utilities required for the operation, maintenance, and control of systems Support the development of the three to five-year strategic roadmap aligning with the overall enterprise directionOverview of Team FunctionThis role will be responsible for managing the operations of the Virtual Desktops and Middleware infrastructure environments and to ensure the operation is in accordance with established procedures and practices This is accomplished through monitoring performance of virtual desktops and middleware applications and coordinating technology deployment and delivery schedules.
Additional responsibilities cover the identification of requirements for infrastructure and operations expansion based on current and projected capacity needs and well as the establishment of software and operating system standardsResponsibilities:
- Leads efforts in managing Virtual Desktops and executing middleware configuration management, vendor management, problem mitigation, change management, and critical situation management for mission-critical systems
- Manages projects and assesses risk, cost, and return on investment scenarios and their impact as well as potential compatibility issues with existing hardware/software
- Identifies and defines new middleware technologies to fit specialized business needs and configurations
- Provides consultation and technical solutions to management on complex systems integration, complex distributed applications, compatibility, expandability, ease of use, and multiple platform issues as they relate to middleware.
- Direct the preparation and execution of operations production procedures
- Develop and manage to Key Performance Indicators
- Plan, schedule and supervise around the clock technology operations including emergency situations requiring the manager's attention after normal business hours to insure continual operations
- Review operating key performance indicators of middleware operations resources utilization and performance
- Communicate regularly with senior management to report on operations performance.
- Maintain open communications with business user management to keep them apprised of operational situations that impact or may impact their respective areas
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders inside and outside Information Systems
- Establish and maintain appropriate quality control systems for the validation of data input and output
- Coordinate, schedule and plan the installation of middleware-based technologies and applications
Business Partnership
- Conduct routine meetings with key business partners to review / discuss overall technology performance for the specific functional areas under responsibility.
- Work with business partners to communicate overall technology capacity related to business priorities for the specific business services / processes under responsibility
- Partner with technology teams to engage business partners and vendors in developing technology / product strategies
- Participate in and support cross technology process improvement initiatives
People Management
- Monitor workload of staff to ensure team members are consistently managed and challenged
- Proactively mentor associates to, in-turn, promote consistent career management, performance measurement and skill development of staff.
- Play significant role in performance management, writing appraisals, giving feedback and helping staff design career development plans
- Actively participate in HR performance measurement processes
- Work with HR and Resource Management to define and implement programs to address changes in resourcing, career mobility, career development and reward / recognition initiatives
- Promote effective teamwork and manage the resolution of interpersonal issues
- Identify ways to share resources across business services / processes to promote information sharing and career / skill development through job rotation.
- Define staffing plans and oversee recruiting process to achieve goals
Qualifications:
- Requires a minimum of 5 years prior supervisory management
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in Virtual Desktop (VMWare Horizon) and Middleware information technology, with progressive leadership experience in middleware build, deployment, support, integration, and management of complex distributed applications on Linux & Windows infrastructure Experience in successfully leading / managing large complex projects and teams
- Minimum 3-4 years hands on experience with the following pieces of technology that this team uses on a day-to-day basis:
- VMWare Horizon View build and operations
- Experience in Monitoring of Linux & Windows based Servers, Databases & hosting Applications using products like AppDynamics or other monitoring tools
- Experience in resolving Linux & Windows Platform issues as part of Platform Ops/Middleware support.
- Experience with RPA/Low Code No Code automation technologies (Automation Anywhere, Boardwalk and Appian)
- Understanding of the technology organization and / or business and technology
- Excellent problem solving / analytical skills and knowledge of analytical tools
- Current technical certifications relevant to Middleware technologies
- Experience in establishing and managing vendor relationships
- Proven success in delivering large cross functional projects
- Must have high focus on quality and customer service
- Must have working experience & knowledge on ITIL Processes for IT service management (ITSM) to manage Incidents, Requests, Changes, Patches, etc
- ITIL certification
- Must have hands on experience in using ServiceNow & JIRA applications including reporting/dashboards/Sprint planning
- Knowledge of Bitbucket, Jenkins and RLM is an added advantage
- Experience in Windows, UNIX shell scripting & debugging knowledge with technical hands-on.
- Expert hands-on scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, Unix Shell Scripting, etc
- Good working understanding of Scrum/Agile practices based on past project experience
