• Designing Plant asset maintenance system and ensuring its implementation to ensure equipment availability for manufacturing
• Capacity expansion / Productivity improvement designing and execution as per AOP timelines & site's Capacity assessment in line to Site Master Plan
• Ensuring Compliance to all Internal & External audits related to operational practices & Legal
• Responsible for completely understanding, rolling out and ensuring compliance with all global, PWF, regulatory as well as plant specific policies, procedures, systems and programs, essentially covering Safety, Environment, Sustainability, Waste Management, Organizational Health and subsequently achieve full compliance with the requirements
• Planning & Controlling VMOH cost
• Responsible for new Engineering project planning & execution at plant
• Ensuring Global Controls related to area of operations meets global & internal guidelines
• Ensuring all the operations, new additions complies to PWF Food Safety & Quality standards
• Developing teams for building benches through trainings & upgrading technology
• All capital investments & installation complies to PWF engineering group standards
• Continuous improvement culture to be nurtured in function
• Ensuring site's risk ratngs are reduced Year on Year

• Leading the plant as a team member for Plant KPIs on volume, productivity, efficiencies etc
• Designing & Implementation of Maintenance system - unplanned breakdown to be less than 1%.
  
  
• Preparing Capacity / productivity initiatives plan & execution - Completion on time with expected quality and with in the approved cost
• Preparing AOP for the VMOH and R & M cost and controlling thru regular monitoring
• Seamless execution of any new project / expansion within the cost and timeframe
• Review of Daily, weekly & Monthly score card and taking corrective steps on Engineering issues
• Leading the Productivity thru cross functional team
• Providing active engineering supports to other functions
• Upgrading own knowledge to be more productive & cost effective - sharing it with other team members.
  
  
• Support effective execution and successful implementation of any and all projects at the plant by reviewing and covering EMS / EHS and Quality Aspects of the same
• Fully endorse and adapt PWF mandates and strategies
• Demonstrate leadership role to ensure success of this position through the people of other departments
• Role model PWF values and creates a motivating and rewarding work environment
• Effectively co-ordinate with all peers, other departments and support functions to ensure a sustainable team environment at the plant.
  
  
• Maintain effective interaction and relationship with Quality Control function of the plant by supporting them through managing Quality Assurance work
• Building Talent thru training, regular feedback and Coaching
• Ensuring safety of people, plant & machinery - thru safe practices and regular audit
• Implementation of OSHAS 18000 requirements and aligning the plant team
• Approvals from Statutory bodies - PSEB, Weight & measure, PPCB etc as per the acts
• Implementing Best practices basis learning from other plants
• Management Representative for ISO 9001 and EHS systems in plant
• Responsible for all regulatory compliances related to Plant & Machinery
• Heading the plant crisis management team.
  
  
• Ensure and maintain Quality & Food safety standards

• Ensure that all local as well as corporate, applicable environmental, safety and conservation standards are fully complied with at all times Team leader for all regulatory compliances
• Ensure that all operations carried out at the plant are safe and environment friendly in every respect and support departments through expert advice, staff training, coordination with corporate and PWF and local knowledge leverage
• Comply with all the required reporting & documentation protocols in EHS, EMS, and Resource Conservation requirements rolled out by PWF
• Work with all departments of the plant to develop, implement, track and monitor the various KPIs as well as measurement standards to ensure that all the compliance requirements are fully met with.
  
  
• Maintain effective liaison with other organizations, local offices as well as within PepsiCo to be able to obtain support as and when needed
• Fully comply with solid and liquid waste management standards per local regulatory and PepsiCo limits
• Lead the teams on Crisis management plan of the plant
• Reduce site's risk ratings year on through traings, infrastructure improvements & best practices implementation
• Emnsure compliance to all legal environment norms on disposals

• Coordinate, set up and implement standard operating procedure for all production operations.
  
  
• Manage the adherence to prescribed procedures to ensure first pass quality meets
• Ensure the compliance to all the Quality systems, their periodic reviews & successful Internal & surveillance audits of various quality systems of the plant including ISO 9001, ISO 22000, ISO 18001, c -GMP & AIB
• Ensure 100% compliance to prescribed QMS, GMP's and 5S processes ensuring environment supportingproduct Quality
• Estimating costs and setting the quality standards
• Ensure and maintain Work Area hygiene and housekeeping standards.
  
  
• Ensuring the plant is maintained round the clock to meet unannounced AIB audit standards
• Creating a culture of High Quality Mindset team through regular Discussion with teams
• Understanding the threat to Quality by continuously reviewing the Operations & executing the 'Hazard Analysis' on timely basis
• Timely review of HACCP Plans, ensuring Safe Food production
• Evaluating the Machine's Capabilities to deliver set Quality norms.
  
  

• Developing benches for all the key positions thus ensuring team's Capability Build up & business continuity
• Maintaining an environment in plant that improves 'Organization Health Survey
• Ensuring the work life balance through proper planning & leaves to people as per plan
• Establishing management practices throughout assigned areas which include all Employees' positive involvement
• Coaching, motivating and developing team members to build a high performing Engineering team by providing guidance on Concentrate University & platform for Multi-skilling thus meeting business objectives
• Identifying the training needs of DR's and planning for their career development.
  
  
• Regular Training of people on their jobs thus ensuring up to date skills with latest engineering concepts
• Timely reviewing the performance of subordinates & providing them with constructive feedback
• Meeting all the PMP guidelines
• Assure that Grievances are addressed in a timely fashion
• Initiate hiring when needed to cope with expanding workload or for replacement of leaving employees
• Conduct training or authorize training of production employees on new agendas.
  
  
• Establish SMART Targets & conduct formal performance reviews per company policy as per PMP guidelines
• Track competencies of subordinates and provide leadership and development as required to achieve the objectives
• Initiate disciplinary measures according to company policy when needed

• Graduation/ post graduation in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• Experience in Maintenance & Projects of around 10 - 12 yr and independently handling the engineering function of a medium scale company for 3-5 years
• Understanding of Food / Pharma manufacturing setup
• Ability to create and manage budgets
• Hands on experience on ERPs like SAP, Mapics or Oracle
• Knowledge on QMSs like HACCP,AIB,ISO- 14001,18001,9001-2000
