About the Department Global Information Security, GBS is an area within Digital Data and IT GBS Global Information Security, GBS is an integral part of Global Information Security Organisation of Novo Nordisk which is headed by the CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) and consists of two main areas: Global Security Operations (GSO) and Global Information Security Advisory (GISA) In GIS (Global Information Security) GBS (Global Business service), we work closely with Global Information Security organisation in defining and executing on strategy to support the digital journey of Novo Nordisk by ensuring smooth operations of SOC, Service Management, advisory support, Security Mailbox, and various other Information Security functions.

The Position As a Manger, you will be responsible for managing and developing GSO APAC - Technology & Service Operations area in Global Information Security department in GBS (Global Business Services) You will ensure your focus on protecting value creation in Novo Nordisk by assisting the GSO to maintain a comprehensive, threat focused, operational IT security program and ensuring that CISO and Global Security Operations strategic objectives are supported You will provide strategic oversight for all aspects of the global security operations program anchored within the GSO APAC team and be a part of Global Information Security - GBS Management team Your primary responsibility will be:

• Manage security architects working for Core Security Technologies (Globally) likeMcafee -Endpoint Threat Protection, DLP (Data Loss Prevention), Web Security Service/Zscaler, Privileged Identity Management/CyberArk, Global Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), Global Intrusion Defence (GID), Vulnerability Management VM), GSO server platforms (RHEL/IDM/Satellite)
• Drive strategic projects for global security operations and supervise global teams as per scope.
  
  You willwork as a strategic security architect for overall security architecture in Novo Nordisk
• Acts as IT security subject matter expert on security projects in a global capacity and across business units such as product supply, research, and development as well as business operations You will provide security consulting/support to global organization when it comes to various inspection/audit requirements
• Manage people budgets for employees in coordination with Head of Global InformationSecurity, India including timely planning and monitoring of the budget for reportingemployees
• Handle communication and alignment with management SVPs (Sr.
  
  Vice Presidents) and management teams, LoB (Line of Business) stakeholders, primarily SystemOwners, and Business Process Owners and managing stakeholders at various organization levels

Qualification

• Bachelor of Science in Computer technology or similar graduate degree in relevant field (Cybersecurity, computer science or other relevant fields)
• Certification in CISSP or CISM, Vendor agnostic technical security certifications is preferred
• 12+ years of experience of working in IT.
  
  6+ years of proven track record as a Manager/Lead in IT Security domain with a large and matrix organization
• Must exhibit strong hold on security framework and security best practices, data networking architectures, technologies and protocols, incident response and computer forensics required
• Experience of application layer security, software security assessment processes,penetration test, vulnerability assessment methods, risk analysis, application layersecurity is preferred
• Experience working with internal and external audit teams is essential
• Experience with cloud computing technology, IaaS, PaaS, and cloud security technologysuch as CASB, Functional knowledge of enterprise technologies such as Windows, Active Directory, UNIXL/Linux, Oracle and MS-SQL Databases, encryption fundamentals, and application layer security controls is highly preferred.
  
  
• Functional knowledge of network security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, intrusion prevention systems, and software defined networks is preferred
• Ability to collaborate and communicate with external parties, primarily with IT Security, GSO organisations and users
• Demonstrate an exceptional ability to work with stakeholders at the highest organisational level
• Must have excellent communication skills It shall be expected of you to be highly self-motivated to work independently, within delegated authority, with minimal or no supervision.
