Job descriptionAre you who can be proactive through leveraging global process knowledge to promote synergies and improvements including automation and digitalization initiatives Can you independently plan and follow up on execution, project progress and evaluation of needed resources If yes, you can be a part of Novo Nordisk as their Manager- GPO S4 HANA Apply today About the department Global Finance GBS Bangalore was established in 2007, is currently responsible for supporting Accounting, Finance & Procurement, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for Headquarters, region Europe, North America, International Operations (IO) & GBS Bangalore The main purpose of our existence is to provide superior service to our stakeholders consistently and add value to the processes in terms of standardization and efficiency The Position As a Manager- GPO S4 HANA, you will be responsible for E2E process design where you will define guidelines, policies, and SOPs for functional part of global processes related SAP S4 HANA project.
Being responsible for the process delivery model, you will drive implementation of S4 in global organizations in related processes (Significant changes passed through GPO) You will ensure clear and detailed R&R within SOPs Involved in process improvement identifying process inefficiencies and implement ways to resolve them Additionally, you will ensure processes are documented in a standard way (including process owner, process flow, descriptions steps, reconciliations & controls and RACI etc) and that the process defined in S4 is aligned with Global affiliates, Projects team and Operational delivery teams.
Drive to ensure the global organization follows the standard process and an overview of exceptions is developed and maintained Understand current processes with end-to-end workflow structure , Work with S4 Projects team to define optimal workflow You will also be responsible for the below mentioned:
- Identify current inefficiencies in the process and develop plan to implement ways to resolve them
- Synchronizes process improvement plans with other process owners within the value chain
- Ensure optimal use of technology - understand how the technology shall impact the current processes.
Advise on improvements based on technology process driven wins - Develop presentations related to S4 project activities for Management in GBS & HQ and prepare consolidated material from project reports for monthly review
- Support internal communications with Articles on key events and project updates via intranet and content emails
Qualification
- You hold a Bachelor's degree from recognized university (or equivalent) with min 10-12 Years of experience with majority of the exposure in Finance domain
- Experience from an international work environment.
- Strong Project Management skills and experience - proven track record in supporting tool implementation, S4 Hana project experience, operational excellence, Process efficiency, Lean projects
- Preferred, exposure to Visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau
- Self-driven and dedicated/desire to influence and Functional competencies (Includes Knowledge's and Skills)
- Ability to work with and challenge stakeholders at the highest organisational level
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly self-motivated to work independently, within delegated authority, with minimal or no supervision
- Demonstrates the ability to work as part of a team, and a clear understanding of how assigned responsibilities impact other processes and the work of other people
- High energy and flexibility - can shoulder additional workload when necessary
- Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility
- Solve tasks in high quality on time.
- Requires good knowledge of multiple systems and data flows
- Be adaptable to learn new processes, concepts, and skills
- Create value as a business partner in LoB and Corporate Finance
