The Role ResponsibilitiesJob RoleIts techno-functional data programming role in the area of Credit Risk Data Reporting Job scope includes design, development and maintenance of Credit Risk Data Store and Reporting Functions include both new development as well as BAU support for legacy data products Responsibilities include accurate and thorough documentation of data products Key Responsibilities
- Business analysis of Credit Risk use cases and cross functional collaborative solution deliveries.
- Liaise with Risk Framework Owners and Reporting team in defining data solutions
- Work closely with Technology Developers from CIO team to implement strategic data solutions
- Python, SQL programming and debugging to support data solution development
- Presto SQL view development to support data delivery and data visualization
- Data programming using Jupyter Notebook, Excel Power Query and Tableau dashboards development.
- Data mapping and refence data identification, analysis and management
- Data investigations and reconciliation to support reporting needs and legacy BAU activities
- Solution documentation, Data dictionary preparation and assistance in Data Quality Management
Strategy
- Define the data sourcing guidelines, target data definitions and data architecture for Credit Risk Data Store platform
- Enable creation of best practices, data delivery frameworks and data modelling guidelines for Credit Risk.
- Support the strategic and ad hoc data requirements of Credit Risk Reporting team
Business
- Support best practices, solution frameworks and techniques to create a next-generation data solutions delivery organization
- Work on data delivery roadmaps in liaison with the CIO Teams and manage end-to-end data delivery
- Work on data requirements and identification of golden sources for data attributes
- Liaise with the stakeholders to support data requirements and delivery.
Processes
- Liaise with the wider data community and the CDO Office in establishing best practices, solution patterns and nimble data solutions
- Perform horizon scanning on upcoming trends in data management practices, data science technologies and incorporate into ways of working
People and Talent
- Provide support in attracting and retaining data management talent in the Function
Risk Management
- Embed compliance with data management risks, including data quality, secrecy, privacy, records management and AI ethics in the design of data solutions
- Ensure compliance with the risk management practices applicable for the role.
Governance
- Support compliance with the BCBS239 obligations on DQ for the Function
Regulatory and Business Conduct

Our Ideal Candidate
- Graduate / Post-graduate in Computer Science, Finance or similar Quantitative Discipline
- 2 years of experience in similar role and specifically in Risk
- Able to make good working relationships with people at all levels, to work in a team environment
- Proficient in SQL and Python Data Programming, Excel and Jupyter Notebook skills.
- Able to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements
- Good Stakeholder management and communication skills
Role Specific Technical Competencies
- Business Analysis and Effective Communication skills
- Knowledge of Data Profiling and analysis techniques
- Prior experience of SQL and Python Programming
- Knowledge of Data Documentation and Governance
