JOB DESCRIPTIONJob PurposeSummary of main purpose of role - action, area of impact and result or standard This should be a clear and concise statement of the overarching aim of the role (less than 500 words) The objective of the Vendor Management Office is to promote, facilitate and support consistent and effective vendor risk management across the enterprise The purpose of this role is to support the activities associated with managing vendors and third party relationships This manager will manage a team that works with all levels of staff including senior management to facilitate vendor on-boarding activities, support periodic vendor reviews and vendor decommissioning to ensure ICE maintains healthy vendor relationships Duties and Responsibilities

• State what the role needs to do/achieve and why, focusing on the key outputs in terms of ongoing responsibilities and duties rather than specific targets or objectives.
  
  

• Assess vendor risk, performing appropriate due diligence and ensuring completeness of vendor documentation
• Maintain ICE's enterprise vendor inventory and vendor document repository for accuracy
• Act as the organization's vendor intake point of contact for vendor management related enquiries from internal and external sources
• Serve as a liaison between the vendor, business and supporting teams (ie.
  
  IT, legal, procurement, accounting, and operations) Collaborate with business partners to maintain a clear documentation trail of vendors passing through the VM Lifecycle
• Responsible for the production of internal vendor management status reports and metrics
• Facilitate resolution of escalated vendor-related issues related to on-boarding, decommissioning or risk assessing
• Create and maintain vendor records in our Vendor Management system and also navigate and pull reports and data from our procurement system
• Participate and support internal and external audits

Knowledge and Experience

• Qualifications/education: Indicate any professional qualifications and/ or the level of education that is required
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in vendor management, risk management, supply chain management, or other directly related experience Direct experience in vendor risk management or compliance highly desirable.
  
  
• Experience working for Banking, Insurance or Information Technology company a plus
• PMI, Six Sigma highly desirable
• Demonstrated leadership in Vendor Management and can be viewed as VM expert
• Demonstrated competency working well within a team and across departments
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Decisive, comfortable with suggesting recommendations in a constructive manner
• Proven track record in taking ownership, driving results in a fast paced environment
• Self-starter with high degree of initiative and the ability to manage a team
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize while maintaining close attention to detail
• Adequate knowledge of and experience with legal contracts, contract negotiations and service agreements
• Good working knowledge of third party risk management tools
