OpportunityReporting to Head of Marine People The Marine Relations Manager is responsible to strengthen, develop, maintain relationship with all external and internal stakeholders directly involved with Manning Office operations which also includes activities related to Recruitment and Placement License (RPSL)This role supports Head of Marine People who will own the implementation of the strategy which will include recruitment, performance management, training and welfare while also being the front runners in the moments that matterKey Responsibilities

• Liaison with local authorities on all RPS related matters
• Local liaison with Seafarer Unions
• Management and coordination with all Third-Party Manning Agencies
• Conducting audits of Third-Party Manning agents
• Responsible for facilitating compulsory payments to Training funds, Unions, Provident and welfare funds, etc.
  
  
• Support key processes requiring additional / ad-hoc support
• Coordination and management of centralised welfare initiatives
• Manage local office administrative requirements
• Coordinating seafarer welfare activities (annual get-togethers) and other welfare initiatives

Required Experience :

• The ideal candidate should be a graduate with good interpersonal and people skills
• 3 years of related work experience
• Possess good communication skills to be able to work diplomatically with external stakeholders
• Project management experience is an added advantage
• Good understanding of legal principles around contracts is beneficial
• Possess analytical skills for analysing information, managing data and information logically.
  
  
• Able to Multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, innovative and a good team player
• Have excellent English language skills verbal and written
