This opportunity is to join the Cloud Storage Services team, and work with a highly talented, dynamic engineers to build storage features for various cloud providersWe are seeking a backend developer, for working on design and development of our cloud service featuresYou will closely work with other engineers and product manager to understand the requirements and deliver storage centric features in VMC's SaaS layerSuccess in the Role: What are the performance goals over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing

• You will be expected to become skilful in VMware's cloud storage stack and deliver high quality features in a timely manner
• You will be evaluated based on the quality, scale and performance of your solution.

• You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science/computer engineering
• You care about cloud service development, microservices and RESTful APIdesign
• You will contribute to production-grade backend development using Java SpringBoot and VMware's cloud infrastructure services
• You will debug customer issues, implement bug fixes using your analytical skills.
  
  
• You will perform on-call duties to troubleshoot and resolve production incidents
