Position: Network Engineer- L2 - 4+ Yrs expCompany: ExterNetworksWork days: Monday to FridayPositions: 3Address: Madhapur, HyderabadNote: If Interested call back at 040 45456566 or email Resume to nawaz@externetworks comThe NOC Engineer Level 2 position is responsible for applying knowledge of the network and networking protocols along with excellent communication skills in order to perform in-depth troubleshooting of all issues that arise The primary function is to perform escalated network repair, execute tactical projects, and own overall network troubleshooting once alerted by the monitoring toolEssential Job FunctionsProvide Escalated high-level support to the NOC and customers when neededMaintain and Manage the Network operations center by providing Switching and Routing supportContinuous monitoring and management of the customer networks to ensure alarm receipt and processing procedures are followedGenerating and processing tickets for technical support and serviceIdentify alarms, raise requests, and will perform diagnostics of the problem and dispatch as required to the appropriate Carriers or field service technicianTechnical proficiency with Layer 2 and 3 networking.

Updating and maintaining all database and circuit recordsConducts detailed MOP reviews to ensure minimal customer impact during scheduled maintenanceUnderstands, applies and maintains network standards as documented by Architecture & EngineeringPerforms the responsibilities in a high pressure, short timeline environment, which includes managing and responding to aggressive customersUnderstands, applies, and maintains network standards as documented by Architecture & EngineeringRequirementsMinimum 4 years of NOC and / or Network Engineering experience requiredAssociate/Professional level certification in the networking field.
