Network Operations Engineer Job In Vertiv In Pune, India

• Ability to follow Major incident management process and standards for quick engagement of support and speedy resolution major incidents, such as coordinating and driving all activities during a high priority incident event or crisis to adhere to Vertiv service level agreements
• Ability to quickly respond to user reports, incident tickets, or alerts on possible major incidents and triage to determine if a major incident exists
• Ability to quickly contact and engage support teams andor support vendors when needed to resolve major incidents Involve Vertiv security and/or crisis management when those types of situations present themselves
• Direct resolution activities and establish command and control during Major Incident events
• Ensure proper communication and status updates are provided during major incidents to keep necessary parties informed
• Ensure that event details are gathered and documented in the incident ticket to support Problem Management and root-cause analysis
• Provide timely clear and concise communications to IT support and Business leaders as necessary through email, phone calls, conference calls, etc

• 2+ years of IT experience in an IT Service Desk related role
• Working knowledge of incident management process
• Strong ability to lead and direct groups to resolving issues
• Technical understanding of IT applications, Server OS, and network technologies
• Technical troubleshooting skills for major incident triage process
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to translate technical terms into business impact
