The International Centre of the SavitribaiPhule Pune University, located on campus, assists the International Students’ Community, in acquiring information about the various courses, colleges, tuition structure, eligibility, accommodation, health insurance and the likes offered by the University It is also operative in arranging for the students’ admissions and their overall welfare
The International Centre administers the special 15% over and above quota of International Students, created jointly by the Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Human Resources and Development (MEA & MHRD) Government of India The International Centre is the nodal agency that coordinates all the activities related to the admission of International Students, through a unique single-window system, that was established in the year 2001 From the academic year 2015-16, the Centre has introduced online admission procedure which has greatly smoothened the admissions and the flow of international students to the university as well as helped immensely in maintaining transparency in its administrative functions.
