Your responsibilities

• Developing the proof of concepts, prototypes and support in pilot evaluation and productization of solutions
• Executing data exploration, pre-processing, analysis and modeling of linear/non-linear systems for digital project implementation in pulp and paper industry
• Working with product managers to define scope, features and estimates for new projects
• Working directly on development tasks and providing technical leadership to coordinate with other resources and creating high quality products within the defined schedules and budgets
• Working with system software team to integrate control functionality into P&P ability offerings
• Planning project activities with local and remote teams

Your background

• PhD or Master's in an engineering discipline (preferably in control, computer, chemical, or pulp and paper) with
• major in process control, system identification, and data science
• Minimum 2 - 4 years of industrial experience in design and implementation of process control systems, preferably associated with the pulp and paper processes
• Hands on experience with programming languages/ tools like Python, R, MATLAB, Open Modelica/Dymola
• platform, preferably interacting with industrial process data
• Proficient in first principle modeling, control theory and optimization (Linear/NL/Optimization algorithms)
• Experience with PLCs/DCS and IEC 61131 and PC-based software development (NET C# preferred)
• Knowledge of data science and software engineering is a plus
