Finance on the Cloud programme is using the compute power of Cloud technology to redesign our operating model and take a data driven approach to reporting, rather than an output driven approach The primary goal of the Basel III reform programme is to ensure a coordinated and consistent implementation of the Basel III reform approach across HSBC In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Lead and own technical delivery - requirement analysis, estimation, design, development, testing, deployment & post-deployment support
- Actively contribute in design workshop, code reviews, scrum of scrum meetings and troubleshooting technical issues
- Lead Scrum Meetings, Daily Stand Up Calls, Retrospective etc Understand and timely escalate risks/issues to release manager/technical product owner
- Look for automation opportunities and automate tasks through tools and scripts
- Help to Improving the efficiency of development team and delivery optimization within time.
- Mentor or guide developers and analysts, manage and allocate work as necessary
- Ensure implementation of continuous integration / continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team driving a culture of continuous improvement
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant IT controls and standards including relevant Service Management StandardLiaise with various stakeholders / teams to lead the Technology Delivery
Requirements To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Should have at least 6-8 years of hands-on experience as a technical SME/Lead roleIn-depth knowledge on database Oracle/NoSQL/PLSQL, extensive experience on writing efficient SQL Scripts and SQL optimization In-depth knowledge on Linux/Unix commands.
Having knowledge of Java/Python, Control M/any batch scheduling technologies would be an added advantage - Experience in effort estimation, leading a POD with Agile methodologies is mandatory Must familiar with using tools - GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins
- Candidate should have strong knowledge on cloud computing technologies, especially on GCP (DataHub/BigQuery) Must have good communication skills (both speaking and writing) in English and problem solving skills, can-do attitude
- Have thorough understanding of SDLC processes (AGILE, DevOps) and follow coding standards during the development Experience of working with diverse Business and IT teams.
- Lead, motivate, mentor and coach the teams Arranging Technical training and mentoring and knowledge sharing Identify potential Specialist from the teams
- Drive staff development through soft skill training, personal development plans and performance management reviews of at least one programing language, preferred Good to have knowledge on Credit risk, Market Risk, Operational Risk & Regulatory reporting Experience in using Jira and Confluence
- Strong planning and organizational skills, with a proven ability to priorities competing demands and communicate this effectively, high attention to detail.
Proven ability to execute and deliver change, within an operational context Effective leadership with requisite interpersonal skills necessary to direct and motivate the team to achieve results - Solution orientated, high energy characteristics necessary Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain global and regional relationships at all business levels Strong collaborative management skills with the various stakeholders
