We are urgently looking for Postgres DBA Desired competencies are as follows1 3 - 8 years of experience in Postgres DB Administration,2 should have strong skills in architecture, design, installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting of of Postgres DB which includes high availability, replication, disaster recovery, patching, backup & recovery, performance tuning, optimizing, & securing Postgres DB.

3 Experience in automating Postgres DB deployments, admin tasks and capability to create scripts for managing and maintaining Postgres DB as per requirements4 Experience in Upgrading and Migration of Postgres DB databases5 Experience in setting up alert monitoring considering the monitoring tools deployed in the environment6 Excellent troubleshooting skills.

Should be able to resolve any issue related to Postgres DB independently Should be able to quickly isolate the problem and provide resolution in order to meet the SLAs7 Outstanding documentation skills Should have prior experience in creating design documents, SOPs etc8 Should have ability and prior experience in analyzing existing deployments and propose & implement improvements9.
