DescriptionLocation: PuneEducational qualification: BE/BTech/ME/MTech Experience Requirements1Minimum 1 - 3 year of experience in the area of Diesel/Gasoline Engine Development with Automotive OEM Experience with MNC preferred.

Prior experience with German OEM/organization is a strong plus2Basic knowledge of Internal Combustion Engine components and sub-systems3Extensive experience in Component Validation on engine/ Component engineering/ Product development4Should have knowledge of new product development process lifecycle5.

Exposure to supplier interaction, supplier engagement and negotiations is preferred6Good know-how of test requirements and testing process7Experience of problem solving and root cause analysis8Exposure to engine tear down and assessment of component wear is preferred9Good presentation and documentation skills10.

Should be a quick learner and a team player11Ability to work under challenging situations12Knowledge of German language is an added advantage13International Experience is a strong plusJob Description1.

Be responsible for end to end delivery of component validation under own responsibility2Be responsible for technical decisions3Understand, analyze problems with a methodical approach and propose a solution in the least possible time frame4Plan and specify component and or engine level tests required for validation of components and subsystems5Representation in all technical meetings with Germany6.

Co-ordination with cross functional teams for achieving final delivery7Generate innovative ideas for adding value to existing projects8Analyze failures, investigate root cause and suggest corrective action9Establish communication with Daimler AG, Germany and coordination between MBRDI & Daimler AGQualificationsBE / ME/ MTech / M.
