• Manage product marketing responsibilities under the guidance of Director for one of our products that are part of our Intelligent Data Services Platform, which includes data management & protection, data security, and data governance & compliance capabilities
• Know your buyer, why they buy, and how to appeal to them know how to link your buyer's needs to your product's value proposition use this knowledge to support sales in competitive situations and other sales scenarios.
  
  
• Under mentorship of Director develop messaging and positioning that differentiates Commvault's products and reflects their value proposition in terms of customer needs, competitive differentiation, and the state of the market
• Educate sales on your product area, including how to position and sell, both directly and working with sales enablement contribute to development of sales playbooks and other tools to assist with these efforts
• Create product content, including web content, video content, data sheets, solution briefs, and product presentations
• Assist with planning and own execution of product and feature releases, cross-functionally working across marketing, product management, sales, sales enablement, partners/channel, and other stakeholders

Requirements:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in some combination of product marketing, product management, or a related role in B2B software.
  
  
• A passion for taking technical feature capabilities and turning them into compelling stories that appeal to both business and technical stakeholders
• Solid understanding of IT buyers and their buying criteria
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Experience working with sales in customer meetings, and responding to the field in general

Desired Skill and Experience:

• Experience in data protection (backup & recovery), storage, security, data governance/compliance, or other IT infrastructure
• MBA preferred
