You will be constantly pushing the limits of the technology and will be growing as an expert in a functional areaJob DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesEvaluates from a reliability standpoint the design and architecture, materials, properties, and techniques Identifies risks and develops mitigation plans to retire risks in a timely manner Determines reliability requirements of components and systems to achieve company, customer, and any governmental agency product quality objectives Develops new acceleration techniques and analytical tools to assure the early identification of potential problems with new products, packaging, processes, and product reliability Recommends design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for achieving required levels of product quality, reliability, and yields Develops, implements quality/ reliability test plans and performs failure analysis Perform FMECA, document CRAMS and work with supplier and engineer to enable CRAMS test plan.
Also perform Product Qualification Plan at supplier Reliability modeling and ERAMS Makes recommendations for changes in the selection and application of components and systems May propose changes in design or formulation to improve system and/or process reliability Designs and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the quality/ reliability of products Develops, applies, revises, maintains and/ or tests quality/ reliability standards to ensure alignment with customer expectations Develops methods and parameters, project methodology and/ or project proposals.
Evaluates work methods, procedures, and policies to ensure world class quality standards are attainable Accountable for projects/ programs as wells as, developing methods and parameters, project methodology and/ or project proposals Coaches, mentor and conduct training for targeted organizations on quality & reliability process Develops and implements division's Quality Assurance program and policies Manage multiple projects Prepare and present progress and status to the managementThis role requires strong communication, in addition to being comfortable with working independently through ambiguities under minimal guidance and acts as a resource for the program team involved in New Product DevelopmentOur Ideal Candidate
- Masters or Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
- Mandatory: Chamber and Vacuum systems knowledge, mechatronics, motors & drives.
Highly experienced in identifying design/mfg risks and mitigation in product design life cycle - Minimum: 7 to 10 years overall
- At least 5 years of experience in design of components, semiconductor, or machine tool industry, working with vacuum and clean room environments
- Worked on new product development, involved in the product design life cycle from the concept and feasibility phase to prototype development to hand off to high volume manufacturing
- Excellent communicator, can present his/her ideas clearly and can explain the approach to the solution of a technical problem succinctly
- Fast learner, open to new ideas
