Job DescriptionJob DescriptionRoles & Responsibilities:

• Lead project independently (Fixed and T&M) in the area of software development, maintenance and package implementation
• Take end to end responsibility for customer satisfaction, contract fulfillment and project profitability
• Manage scope of the project during its execution including change requests
• Communication with relevant stakeholders during the life of the project
• Perform to organization norms on metrics (eg effort, schedule and defect rates)
• Manage relationships with clients
• Develop statements of work (SOWs) for new projects
• Identify and manage risk during the project life
• Create a motivated high-performance team
• Give formal and periodic feedback to individual team members
• Ensure software engineering guidelines and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

Qualifications -

• 11 to 14 years of exp in IT with 4+ years of Project management experience
• Experience in project management using agile-scrum methodologies, estimation
• Must have played role of Scrum master for at least 2+ years
• Exposure of conducting various scrum ceremonies like Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective
• Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right resources/tools/process/technology to remove the impediment
• Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
• Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, empowerment, and increasing transparency
• Knowledge of various performance metrics like Team velocity, Burn down/ Burn up charts, Lead Time and Cycle Time
• Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools: JIRA, Service now, Green hopper, TFS, or equivalent, Microsoft Project, VSS, Sonar cube, Fisheye, Jenkins, and all Office Tools
• Ability to proactively call out issues and risks and provide solutions
• Consultative & Solution-oriented - Ability to propose design and development approach
• Understand and appreciate solution frameworks and architectures
• Prefer developer background, tech savvy
• Support presales initiatives in estimation
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
