In addition to ensuring strict process requirements are followed, you are also responsible for the integrity of shop floor data collection to ensure operational decisions are made using reliable data You will report to the Operations in Munster, Indiana and will be fully onsiteYour Responsibilities:
- Maintain the Quality Management System(s) and associated third-party registrations
- Conduct audits, including closing out audit findings, creating audit-finding reports and determines proper corrective and preventive actions
- Analyze product failures and initiate the corrective and preventive actions required to respond to customer complaints
- Support Operations, Sales, and Engineering with specific product and process data for data-based decision-making
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelors in Engineering or technology related field
- Legal authorization to work in the U.
S We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening - The ability to travel up to 50% of the time between Munster, IN and Mequon, WI
- A valid drivers license
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- 2+ years of experience with applying Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodologies to manufacturing processes and process improvement initiatives
- Familiar with and able to manage corrective actions through others
- Track vendor quality metrics to support Supply Chain Management
- Train personnel to build quality awareness
