Initiating and driving technology, software, product or solution development using in-depth technical expertise in a specific area or a broad range of skills in a technical or product field Managing or coordinating development projects/activities of substantial impact to the business Acting as the first line contact in R&D/SW development/Product engineering for in-depth product or technology related issuesYour responsibilities

• Maintaining, designing and further developing core components for the software products Co-owning system architecture by keeping a set of documents up to date
• Analyzing and improving efficiency, quality and scalability of the products, along with product management, sales and engineering teams, analyze customer requirements, generate specifications, provide implementations and deliver working solutions
• Working with development manager, system architect and product owner to define scope, features and estimates for new projects and be responsible for analysis and solution of system issues reported by customers or end users
• Understanding new features / use cases and implement them along with understanding the existing code
• Participating in design discussions, documentation and reviews with ABB team as needed and having the capability of becoming proficient at developing a workflow process, troubleshooting the software and staying current with upgrades, updates and patches
• Conceptualizing and driving of the design, development, testing and deployment of web and windows applications across the various product lines Selecting the technology stack and platform for developing the new products within division
• Collaborating in the productivity improvement initiatives like continuous integration and deployment, devops, architect review and proposals etc.

• Planning and making technical training for customer key users or internal team

Your background

• Batchelor's degree in Engineering with minimum 8 - 12 years experience in hands on web application development experience using C#, ASPNet MVC, Net Core, MVC REST API, Angular/React, Node Js, HTML, Ajax, JQuery, Java script, CSS, Bootstrap
• Having experience in object oriented programing, docker containers Kubernetes, openshift, design patterns
• Experience in working with SQL, RDBMS, timeseries, No SQL DB, building Restful APIs with excellent coding and problem-solving skills with attention to details
• Good understanding and preferably hands-on exposure to Microsoft Azure, Agile/DevOps environment with CI/CD tools is preferred
• Experience in product design, architecture and development with exposure in Industrial Automation domain is preferred
• Manufacturing and Execution system (MES) domain exposure is preferred
