Job Description: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES-Land Management-Proven experience in surveying, preparation of accurate reports and working within the social housing sector or similar Proven experience in working on land and estate management Proven experience working with various service providers / contractors Have good technical knowledge of land and estate management issues such as changes in legislation, planning and best practices Prepare reports, plans, information and statistics on work activity and attend meetings as required.
Maintain awareness and up to date knowledge of changes in current legislation, including Building Regulations; Town and Country Planning Procedures; Housing Corporation guidelines and good practice in order to provide technical advice to Members, Senior Management, members of the public, statutory bodies and members of various professions on land ownership and property boundary responsibilities Ensure Best Value is achieved in all aspects of your work Assist in managing budgets and ensure an innovative approach is adopted in service delivery To assist in the management and updating of all data systems and licence agreements related to land management Assist with procurement of services, as necessary SKILLs Knowledge--General and Specific Knowledge: - Relevant Acts, Regulations, Policies and Procedures - Property Law.
- Enforcement techniques Competencies: - Local language is an added advantage - Written and verbal communication skills - Analytical skills - Ability to coordinate work or project activities Interpersonal Skills A range of interpersonal skills are used to perform activities such as listening, asking questions and giving advice, conducting interviews, dealing with upset or angry people and resolving disputes on land ownership or development issues.
Less frequently will make formal presentations to various groups that have a vested interest in development plans
