Essential Duties & Responsibilities Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely feedback Document test strategy and test plan Build and execute automation scripts and API tests Define scenarios and variations in data to adequately perform testing Interact with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify and refine test requirements Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases Prioritize and plan testing activities Play the role of test engineer: Design, develop, and execute automated tests Identify and report issues found, then verify that issues are resolved Perform regression testing, reproduce issues, automate for DevOps CI/CD Create & manage bug reports and communicate with the team Proficient in code debugging and solving complex program errors Source control and build tools experience with GIT, Jenkins Education/Work Experience Qualification 4+ years' experience working as a QA Test/Automation Engineer 2+ writing code (PHP, Python) for test automation 2+ years' experience using test automation tools 2+ years of AWS cloud experience Experience in maintaining REST API based automation frameworks and scripts Strong understanding of QA processes which include Test case planning, feature ownership,automation reporting and triage, bug reporting,regression & isolation Knowledge on AWS Pipeline for Continuous Testing Proficiency in API Testing in at least one of the following programming languages: Python/PHP Familiarity with Continuous Integration and software build processes Experience in testing cloud SaaS or PaaS solutions/products Demonstrated high ownership in previous projects Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally across multiple teams JIRA, TestRail and Jenkins experience a plus Pharmaceutical supply chain experience a plus Computer science degree or related experience required
