The subsurface team is split into two with one team focused on Brunei and the other team focused on other core areas of the COG businessWhat's the roleThe Reservoir Engineer will serve as a technical contributor providing Project and Asset support (incl WRFM (Wells Reservoir and Facilities Management), OP (Business plan) to the COG Development Portfolio The portfolio will range from large brownfield redevelopment (including infill, waterflood and EOR opportunities) to green field development and exploration/appraisal projects in a variety of field/fluid set-up Your accountabilities are:

• Provide reservoir engineering support for high quality project delivery by working in a fully integrated team
• Support exploration teams in asset for exploration/appraisal well delivery and HCM (Hydrocarbon Maturation)/V2V.
  
  
• Provide reservoir engineering support to asset management & WRFM activities including consolidation & analysis of production data, history matching of reservoir models and production forecasting
• Perform Reserves Estimation & Reporting and support in Business Planning including HCM maturation

What we need from you

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Petroleum engineering or related field with at least 5 years relevant experience in integrated subsurface studies and/or WRFM (Wells Reservoir and Facilities Management)
• Strong skills in Integrated Reservoir Modelling and very good working knowledge of Decision Based IRM practices & standards
• Strong skills in analyzing large datasets efficiently and able to derive insights quickly and integrate with other discipline inputs to form a credible view
• Demonstrable experience in reserves estimation and coordinating the annual reporting process.
  
  
• Well-developed interpersonal and presentation skills, good team player enjoy working in multidisciplinary and multicultural project teams
