This role will be responsible for processing leads, advancing the sales process, closing new business and achieving/assisting in the achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas This is a full sales cycle role that requires the successful candidate to work and up-sell into existing install and drive and close deals in territoryThe successful candidate will have a proven track record of selling and closing deals directly with the customer and with downstream channel partners They must have strong negotiation skills and have a challenger mentality to ensure that the deal closes at an acceptable level of value in line with the Commvault propositionPosition Responsibilities
  • Exceed quarterly and annual sales/bookings targets and maximize short term revenue
  • Build and maintain a constant/future revenue pipeline
  • Meet /exceed core sales metrics and update/maintain customer database Collaborate with internal SMB account managers owning SaaS focused accounts for seamless handover for our customers/partners.

  • Keep knowledge up to date of the Data Management market and meet training targets to maintain a thorough understanding of Commvault products, process and promotions to provide the highest levels of sales support
  • Work with marketing to drive campaigns into specific market segments
  • Great customer handling skills with a collaborative style, supporting internal and external clients, as needed
  • Effective problem-solving skills to detect changes in circumstances or events Works independently and uses appropriate judgement in decision-making with a results-driven orientation
  • Effectively works in a team-based environment with limited supervision, as well as independently to complete work duties
  • Must comprehend, follow ix`nstruction, and effectively communicate both written and verbally
  • Effective interpersonal and positive teamwork skills
  • Strong organizational, detail-oriented and time management skills
  • Maintains a high level of professionalism, courteous demeanor and confidentiality
  • Office/home base role (hybrid), with exceptional visits to customers and partners
Position Requirements
  • BA/BS Required Bachelor's Degree in business, computer science or technology a plus
  • An energetic self-starter with a consultative sales approach who is pro-active in increasing sales revenue
  • Must be results-driven, have strong analytical skills and be committed to creating new business opportunities
  • Minimum of 2-3 years related software selling experience
  • Must exhibit sound oral expression and comprehension, negotiation, listening, and reasoning skills
  • Proven time and account management skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Individual should be comfortable selling in a team environment with responsibilities for accurate forecasting
  • Strong work ethic and organizational skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, SFDC and Outreachio (or other Customer Engagement Platform) a plus
