As Senior Salesforce Administrator, you'll play a vital role at Trailhead Infrastructure Engineering team We are looking for a proactive individual that can help us continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform, gathering requirements and feedback, designing scalable best practice solutions, and managing the product road map Our Salesforce user experience is of great importance to us, therefore the Senior Salesforce Administrator should enjoy all aspects of user management including support tickets, training, and designing solutions with user satisfaction a priorityWe are looking for someone with a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, who can understand both our current setup and our Trailblazer objectives, in order to quickly identify areas of improvement The Senior Salesforce Administrator should be comfortable with change management and governance, as well as communicating, prioritising and managing all aspects of a Salesforce project.
The ideal candidate will be happy liaising with stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to translate technical information into layman's terms, clearly explaining design options and their potential impactThis job requires that you be a quick learner, self-starter with the ability to work under pressure, meet aggressive deadlines and handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously You should have the ability to work in a fun, creative and fast paced environment You will be responsible to adapt quickly, motivate people, instill accountability and achieve results You must possess excellent oral and written communication/documentation skills and be able to interact with other team members to deliver fast and reliable code.
You will also be required to contribute ideas and provide feedback on many projects within the team's portfolio and be an innovator Basic Requirements/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules
- Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports
- Understanding of basic triggers/Apex code knowledge
- Sandbox environment management
- DevOps/release management experience
- Own the communication of any platform changes to end users and stakeholders
- Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed
- Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer
- Regulate, provide strategic guidance and ensure data is accurate, reliable, secure and meaningful for enhanced trailblazer experience
- Verify solution, design and implementation are of industry best quality for all current and future data, settings and adhering to Salesforce Trust guidelines
- Enable easily adoptable user access policies to meet diversified personas and empower Trailhead business operations needs
- Management of internal and external integrated applications
Preferred Requirements/Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in Salesforce Administration
- Understanding of basic triggers/Apex code knowledge
- A proactive attitude to platform enhancements
- Experience in change management and governance
- Training end users and key stakeholders
- Experience implementing Salesforce configuration changes
- DevOps/release management experience
- Experience in leading the development and implementation of complex Commerce Cloud projects, including managing project timelines and budgets
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
