Within the Information Security organization, the Cyber Fusion program protects our core business functions against impacts resulting from cyber-attacks through threat identification, detection, and response activities This is accomplished, in part, through the Security Operations Engineering team who provides threat detection and response capabilities to the organization The Security Engineer role is a key resource within this team, helping to implement and support the processes, tools and technologies vital for Cyber Fusion to achieve its mission

• Lead the execution of programs with greater risk in the Security Engineering portfolio and deliver the capabilities/services in support of Cyber Fusion mission
• Plan, implement, manage, supervise and upgrade our Security platforms including, but not limited to SIEM, Network Security Analytics, Intrusion Detection, DNS Analytics, SOC case management and Deception platforms.
  
  
• Lead the implementation of new monitoring use cases including identifying and supporting new or existing data sources and log data and implementing the use of those sources
• Develop dashboards to display different use case metrics and maintain a deep technical knowledge of Lillyu2019s specific data sources, data models and indexes and how they fit within the MITRE framework
• Lead the solutioning of engineering problems, including proactive reviews of the environment for potential issues
• Learn the latest information on security trends, tools and regulations in order to anticipate future capability needs
• Influence other team members on sophisticated technical issues to embrace a different point of view on difficult concept.
  
  
• Develop custom solutions to fulfill unmet needs (eg scripting), specifically for integrations between the SIEM and case management platforms
• Develop common standards for implementation processes and documentation/training materials for these processes and the tools that support them
• Build positive relationships with internal/external customers and partners across IDS in educating and supporting any security related issues.
  
  
• Provide technical leadership for external vendor resources supporting the Security tools/services

Basic Requirement:

• Bacheloru2019s degree in a field related to information security, information systems, or High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of Network Security, Information Security or relevant IT work experience
