Role Purpose As a Senior Analyst, Cyber Strategy, the individual will be responsible for supporting management in establishing strategic objectives for cyber security, in line with LSEG Technology and Corporate strategic objectives The candidate will also be responsible for establishing and running ongoing processes for measuring success against set strategic objectives through reporting and data analytics This role will work closely with service owners to maintain the cyber security catalogue and the creation of board and divisional level metrics and reports Key responsibilities
- Assists leadership in developing, preparing and supporting the Cyber Service Strategy, Service Catalogue and Service Transition processes
- Actively support in gathering and checking data, preparing and maintaining board strategy packs
- Support leadership in the development and documentation of the annual cyber investment plan
- Track progress, engage with local teams and update relevant stakeholders on the operation of Cyber Security Services
- Produce periodic KRI and Service Metric reports as input to relevant governance meetings and forums
- Perform quality reviews of service reports and dashboards, ensuring the correct metrics are captured and presented in line with the Service Catalogue
- Ensure accurate actions are documented and tracked as part of the entity and divisional service review governance
- Facilitate and support the annual review of documents owned by the Cyber Strategy and Service Governance team
- Liaise with service owners and other stakeholders to continually refine and improve services offered by the Cyber Security team
Critical deliverables
- Board and Executive level reporting of LSEG's cyber security profile and status
- Ongoing measure of performance against cyber security service SLAs
- Annual development and support of tactical and long terms cyber strategies and objectives
- Supporting Cyber Service Reviews with lines of Business
- Review and maintenance of the Cyber Service Catalogue
Key KPIs
- Achievement of strategic objectives through mobilisation and support of impactful cyber programmes, and the development and support of BAU processes and activities
- Timely production of material for board meetings and other relevant executive committees
- Monthly validation of metrics produced by cyber security service owners
Technical / job functional knowledge
- Understanding and knowledge of control frameworks based on industry best practices such as NIST, COBIT, and ISO27001
- Cyber security qualifications (desirable)
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Cyber, Information Security or IT management
- IT and cybersecurity policies and standards
Experience level4+ years of experience in information and cyber security Personal skills and capabilities
- Excellent Written and Oral Communication skills with fluency in English
- Analytical mindset and ability to work with data and reporting
- Ability to work within a team and to build interpersonal relationships
- Proficient understanding of financial institutions and underlying business processes
- Ability to work in a fast paced, often dynamic project, adapting to change quickly
