- A good working knowledge of the project lifecycle and telecoms domain
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex IT issues to non-technical people in the business and convey business requirements to technical colleagues.
- A good level of technical expertise appropriate to their role
- Good commercial orientation, appreciating the business usage of systems developed
- One who is able to find logical solutions to problems and manage to resolution
- Business analysis skills essential along with understanding of SWOT analysis, feasibility study etc desirable
- Work as part of a Globally distributed Team, cope with time-zones, language challenges and support an increasing demand as full globalization accelerates
Requirements To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- A university graduate with degree in IT, finance or a related discipline
- Good working experience in an IT development or operations role
- Knowledge of Agile ways of working, Scrum basics, JIRA automation & Confluence
- Evidence of working with a distributed team across cultures and under tight deadlines
- Self-sufficient and advises other staff and helps to improve internal processes which are in line with AGILE practices
- Business and technical knowledge on banking system would be an advantage
- Familiarity with the HSBC standards and processes would be useful
- Able to work independently, under pressure and demonstrate proactiveness.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Fluent in English also would be added advantage if aware of following languages like Mandarin, Spanish, French
