Senior Copywriter Job In Meesho In India

About the Team:'When work gives you lemons, make a lemonade of it!' Great brand but not so great advertising You are the one we are looking for if you have better smashing headline options than this We are looking for experienced copywriters with an impeccable digital work portfolio showcasing the best of advertising work, to be a part of our internal advertising team Responsibilities:

• Craft compelling copy for memorable marketing campaigns that would run primarily on digital platforms like Meta channels, Google and the Meesho app
• Create fresh, exciting and effective communication for the target audience with a clear and distinct voice
• Think on your feet to churn out quality content like app push notifications on a daily basis
• Work closely with the design and video team to develop high impact marketing campaigns
• Ensure quality, consistency and tonality of the brand across creative content including campaign copies, ad copies, app banners, push notifications, monthly sale events, video scripts, TV, etc
• Lead, guide and mentor a team of copywriters to meet overall marketing objectives
• Conceptualize innovative ideas and holistic campaigns to drive the Meesho brand forward
• High sense of ownership to see daily work schedules, monthly creative trackers and monthly sale events to its completion

Must-Have Skills:

• Excellent command over English with phenomenal editing and proofreading skills
• Passion for research and an excellent eye for detail
• Proficiency in Hindi would be a positive (proficiency in any other language is an added plus)
• Experience of working in a high-energy, new age start-up or app based company
• Minimum Qualification - Graduate
• Experience: In Copywriting for 5-7 years

Shortlisting Criteria:

• Should definitely have a portfolio of previous advertising/copywriting/digital work
• Skill in handling various kinds of push notifications would be a plus
• Has to undertake a writing assignment after Round 1 of interview
