It works closely together with Service Sales management in five regions across the world and is responsible for developing and executing the growth agenda, ie build up the backlog of Service Business and deliver growth Also, the team works closely together with stakeholders in other global functions such as Product Management, Supply Chain Operations, Sourcing and Finance This position will report directly to the Head of Service Costing and will work side by side with experienced professionals and managers in Global Service, Global Wind Turbine Sales Management, Vestas Power Solutions, Product Development and other key business areas.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and follow up successfully annual service costing projects and related activities
• Define and manage SCM (Service Cost Model) agenda and updates to ensure model reliability and accuracy on service costs forecast
• Support on process definition and set up of Global commercial guidelines regarding costing activities
• Ensure projects and costing activities are delivered on time and according to service requirements
• Engage with service stakeholders and build communities and forums to ensure business intel.
  
  
• Strategic definition of cost model validation principles and set up of approval processes
• Verification of results and its representativeness and communication to management
• Support and guide other teammates in daily activities acting as a senior team member

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master within engineering, statistics, mathematics, finance or the like with focus on quantitative analysis
• +5 years of relevant industry experience, with a preference for energy sector/renewables
• Proficient in programming in R and Python and expert user in related software
• Practical expertise in cost and failure rate modelling would be plus.
  
  
• Knowledge of SAP, Access, VBA, SQL, Power BI, Microsoft Azure or any database applications are required
• Knowledge on Dataiku (DSS) and Gitlab is a plus
